NYC Reopening Update- December 3rd, 2020, NYC will reopen schools in early December after closing them in November due to rising cases of COVID-19. Can Dogs Get COVID-19?

A few cases of dogs tested weak positives of Coronavirus but no evidence they can transmit to humans directly and infect humans with the virus. At this time, there is no evidence that pets, including cats and dogs, play a role in spreading COVID-19 to people.
