Hims & Hers now uses a two-part pricing model for medical weight loss: a recurring clinical membership plus a separate charge for the medication selected after evaluation. That is materially different from the older Hims & Hers compounded-semaglutide plans described in the previous version of this review.

As of July 2026, the membership costs $39 for the first month and $149 per month after that. Medication starts at $149 for a Wegovy pill, $199 for a Wegovy pen, or $299 for Zepbound. Standard shipping is $5. The actual price can be higher based on the product, dose, billing schedule, taxes, and state.

Our Ratings and Bottom Line

Hims & Hers offers a convenient online intake, clinician access, medication management, and home delivery through a familiar telehealth platform. The current program is easier to misunderstand than a single all-inclusive price because the membership and medication renew separately.

  • Best feature: Several brand-name oral and injectable options are available through one platform.
  • Biggest cost risk: Advertisements often lead with the medication's starting price without adding the $149 ongoing membership and $5 shipping.
  • Dose-price uncertainty: Hims & Hers says medication cost may vary by dosage but does not publish a complete dose-to-price table for every product.
  • Cancellation risk: Medication and membership are separate subscriptions. Canceling medication does not necessarily cancel membership.

Where Is Hims & Hers Weight Loss Available?

Availability varies by state, medication, clinician licensing, and pharmacy fulfillment. The old article's list of 20 compounded-semaglutide states no longer describes the current program and should not be used to predict eligibility in 2026.

A patient must complete the current intake using the delivery state. Hims and Hers may present different medication options in the same state, and a product shown on a national page may not be available after screening.

What Weight-Loss Treatments Do Hims & Hers Offer?

The public program currently promotes several prescription paths. A clinician determines whether any option is appropriate.

  • Wegovy pill: Oral semaglutide with advertised medication pricing from $149.
  • Wegovy pen: Injectable semaglutide with advertised medication pricing from $199.
  • Zepbound vial or KwikPen: Tirzepatide with advertised medication pricing from $299.
  • Other branded semaglutide options: Hims and Hers pages may present Ozempic or other products based on eligibility and current availability.
  • Oral medication kits: Non-GLP-1 plans can include combinations such as metformin, bupropion, naltrexone, or topiramate. These are different treatments with different contraindications and should not be compared as equivalent to GLP-1 medication.

The old compounded-semaglutide prepaid plans are not the same as the current membership-plus-medication model. Do not assume a legacy compounded plan, dose, or price remains available.

How Much Does Hims & Hers Weight Loss Cost?

The minimum cash outlay combines the membership, medication, and $5 standard shipping. The figures below use Hims & Hers' lowest public medication prices checked July 9, 2026.

TreatmentMedication Starts AtFirst-Month TotalOngoing Minimum
Wegovy pill$149$193$303
Wegovy pen$199$243$353
Zepbound vial or KwikPen$299$343$453

Each first-month total is medication plus the $39 introductory membership and $5 shipping. Each ongoing minimum is medication plus the $149 membership and $5 shipping. Taxes and higher-dose prices can increase these totals.

Membership Cost

  • First month: $39
  • Renewal: $149 per month
  • Medication: Not included
  • Standard shipping: $5
  • Laboratory work: Not clearly included as a universal benefit; separate lab products or charges may apply

Medication and Dose Pricing

The public pages use “starting at” prices and state that price may vary by dose. A faithful checkout record should include the product, form, prescribed dose, quantity, refill interval, medication cash charge, membership charge, shipping, tax, and next renewal amount.

A low introductory medication price should not be multiplied by 12 unless the page confirms that it remains the same at every dose and refill. Hims & Hers does not publish enough detail to make that assumption for every GLP-1 product.

Did Hims & Hers' Price Go Up or Down?

The pricing structure changed, so the old and new headline prices are not directly comparable. Mira's previous review described compounded semaglutide at $399 month to month, $897 for three months, $1,494 for six months, or $2,388 for 12 months. Those prices bundled the compounded medication into prepaid plans.

The current program charges $39 for the first membership month and $149 after that, plus medication and shipping. A Wegovy pen starting at $199 therefore costs at least $243 in month one and $353 on renewal, before any dose-related increase. Calling that simply “$199 per month” would understate the recurring total by at least $154 after the introductory month.

Estimated Total Cost Over Time

These examples use the lowest public medication price for every month. They are floors, not quotes, because medication prices may change by dose.

Zepbound from $299$343$1,249$2,608$5,326

Calculations include one $39 membership month, subsequent membership months at $149, one medication charge per month at the advertised starting price, and $5 shipping per month. They exclude taxes, labs, and dose-related increases.

What Is Included?

  • Online eligibility screening and clinical evaluation
  • Ongoing access to the care platform during an active membership
  • Prescription management and follow-up
  • Digital tracking or educational content made available in the program

The medication is billed separately. Laboratory services are not clearly included in every plan, and standard shipping is currently $5 rather than free.

Eligibility and Medical Review

Eligibility depends on current clinical criteria, health history, BMI, weight-related conditions, medication interactions, and contraindications. The online questionnaire is not a promise that medication will be prescribed.

Patients should disclose diabetes, pancreatitis, gallbladder or kidney disease, pregnancy plans, eating-disorder history, and any personal or family history relevant to thyroid cancer warnings. The clinician should determine the appropriate treatment rather than the patient selecting solely by price.

The Process

  1. Complete the online education and eligibility screening.
  2. Create an account and provide identity, state, health history, and current medications.
  3. Review the available membership and medication options.
  4. Confirm the membership fee, medication charge, shipping, billing cadence, and renewal.
  5. Complete the clinician evaluation and any requested laboratory work.
  6. If prescribed, receive medication through the assigned pharmacy or manufacturer channel.
  7. Complete check-ins so the clinician can monitor response, side effects, and dose.

Hims & Hers Reviews

Public review themes remain mixed. Positive reports often focus on convenience, online access, discreet fulfillment, and a familiar account experience. Negative reports frequently involve subscription billing, difficulty understanding renewals, cancellation timing, refunds, support response times, and brief-feeling consultations.

These reports are anecdotal. They should be used to identify questions to ask before enrollment, not to estimate medical results or current service times.

Cancellation and Refund Rules

Hims & Hers says membership or medication should be canceled at least two days before renewal. No partial-period membership refunds are generally provided, and medication cannot be refunded after shipment.

  • An initial medication order may be refundable when canceled within 48 hours, subject to the applicable terms.
  • Canceling medication does not automatically cancel the membership.
  • Canceling the membership ends both the membership and linked treatment, but the timing should be confirmed in the account.
  • Orders already processing, prescribed, or shipped may not be refundable.

Patients should retain the cancellation confirmation and verify that both recurring charges show as ended.

Hims & Hers Compared With Other Programs

Hims & Hers' ongoing membership is relatively high before medication is added. Programs such as Fella bundle medication and care into a prepaid amount, while Mochi charges a lower membership plus a separate flat compounded-medication price. Ro also separates membership and medication and is the closest billing comparison.

The products are not necessarily equivalent. An FDA-approved branded product, a compounded preparation, and an oral non-GLP-1 kit have different evidence, regulation, supply, and cost. A comparison should match the same active ingredient, form, dose, and commitment.

Is Hims & Hers a Reputable Company?

Hims & Hers is an established telehealth company founded in 2017 that connects patients with licensed clinicians and pharmacy services across multiple health categories. Being an established company does not guarantee eligibility, treatment effectiveness, or that the lowest advertised price will apply.

Patients should verify the prescriber's licensing, the medication label, the dispensing source, the exact recurring charges, and how to contact support before starting.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is medication included in the Hims & Hers membership?

No. The current weight-loss membership and medication are separate charges.

Can I get tirzepatide?

Hims & Hers currently promotes Zepbound, an FDA-approved tirzepatide product, starting at $299 for medication. Eligibility and state availability vary.

Is shipping free?

No. The current standard shipping charge is $5, although a checkout offer may differ.

Does the medication cost more at higher doses?

It can. Public pages state that pricing may vary by dosage and do not provide a complete public dose-price table for every product.

Are labs included?

Do not assume they are included. Laboratory services are separate products or charges in some circumstances and should be confirmed during checkout.

How do I cancel?

Use the account's subscription management tools and cancel at least two days before renewal. Verify both the membership and medication subscription because they are separate.
